Why are so many people selfish, greedy and unfriendly?

I don't kow why. It is difficult question. Maybe I am selfish and
greedy, but I am not unfriendly. I think if human don't believe other
people, that human will be unfriendly. Can't believe, it is unfriendly.
It needs confidence on everything.
